As we all know how important the entrance exam to IITs is.....and how these days many coaching institutes play unfair and publish fake results....just to lure people into spending their hard earned money for their child's coaching in their "so called TOP" institute(s).
Thus although there have been attempts in the past to create a JEE ranks by name search engine but they have been mostly focussing on the then current year.
BUT now, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN INDIA, an IIT Delhi student has developed a marvellous search engine(jeeranksbyname.co.cc) covering 4 latest years of IIT JEE resultsviz, 2009 2010 2011 and 2012. This may prove to be the turning point in the lives of those students and parents who are yet to make a decision on their coaching expenditure and institute.
This app will also help to satisfy those "secret-hunters", who want to know the exact result with marks of their family and friends ;) .
Although this service is free and serious care has been taken to ensure the correctness of the results, it should not be treated OFFICIAL without verifying with proper sources.
